With the warm weather finally upon us, we can now look forward to hot days, lingering sunsets and warm summer nights. It’s the perfect time to make the most of the great outdoors and revel in all that this glorious season has to offer.

Sunscreen, is as much a part of summer, as beach days and pool parties and is an essential part of any summer kit. With our South African sun we can’t afford not to use sunscreen but there are some surprising and disturbing facts about the chemicals we are rubbing on ourselves. 

There is growing awareness that home pools are not the most environmentally friendly form of recreation. However there is no need to put down that poolside cocktail and pack up the kids for the public pool quite yet.
